skip bins

Skip bins are very versatile. Almost all waste from a construction, demolition site or household clean up can go into the bins, making it very convenient by not having to find alternative transportation or a tip to dispose of your rubbish. All full bins return to our recycling facility where rubbish is sorted, recyclables are taken out and residue transported to landfill.

IMORTANT INFORMATION

  • When a skip bin is full and is ready to be collected, please call it in for pick up. We may not pick bins up automatically after the 14 day hire.
  • For delivery purposes, allow 1m around the bin for placement.
  • STRICTLY NO asbestos, bagged concrete powder, tyres, wet paints, oils, gas bottles, flammables, chemicals of any kind and food waste are to be placed in our bins.
  • Transport regulations prohibits us from carrying any materials higher than the top rim of the bin (overloaded fees may apply if bin is loaded past the rim).
  • Weight limits apply depending on waste type. If waste exceeds weight limits, extra charges may apply.
  • Please ensure access to the property is clear during delivery/collection of your skip (callout fees may apply if access is restricted).
  • Extra charges apply to any mattresses ($100.00 per item) and tyres (car tyre - $30.00 per item / truck tyre - $85.00 per item) located inside the bin.
  • Skip bins up to Size 8.5 lift straight up and down from the back of the truck so as not to damage the ground they sit on. If a skip bin remains on grass it will turn yellow after a short period of time. Some people worry that the grass will die but it will soon green up again once the bin is removed. If you are wanting a skip bin placed on your driveway, you can request that our drivers bring timber planks with them so that the bin can be placed on these planks and not directly touching your driveway.
  • Bins cannot be placed on any road or footpath without appropriate police and council permits.
  • Payment is always charged on drop off of the skip.
